Jacques Labouchere

Jacques Labouchere is a pioneer of the New Weird Sweden folk movement.
He has extensively toured and gigged throughout Scandinavia, NYC, New England, Edinburgh and London. He was busy touring in 2011 with a run of the UK in June, followed by a performance on the Antje Oeklesund stage at Fête de la Musique in Berlin and a stop at Sweden’s largest music festival, “Peace and Love Festival,” on July 1, supporting headliner Bob Dylan.
Jacques’ self-titled début was independently released in March 2007. He then signed to Brixton- based Popjinx Records who released his second album Bi-Polar Baby Strollers and accompanying music video to the single “2nd Long Street” on June 21, 2010. He's currently recording his third album with plans to release later this year.
