Mean Creek

Mean Creek is a genuinely unique band from Boston, Massachusetts. Combining the energy & edge of rock music, with earnest lyrics, and catchy boy/girl harmonies, they create a passionate and intense sound all their own. Their new release, The Sky (Or The Underground), is a valiant, dynamic effort to resurrect Boston's relevance back to a time when bands like the Pixies, Throwing Muses, the Lemonheads, and Buffalo Tom reigned supreme. Over the course of the past three years, Mean Creek have shared stages with diverse national and international recording artists including Buffalo Tom, The Whigs, The Features, The Ting Tings, Margot & The Nuclear So & So's, Bishop Allen, Dead Confederate, Black Lips, and they made their first trip to South By Southwest this past spring. Mean Creek are ready to make you notice Boston once again.

The Narrative

New York-based indie pop/rock group, The Narrative, originated when vocalists Jesse Gabriel and Suzie Zeldin met via a Craigslist ad in 2007. The duo worked together throughout the following months to craft six piano, guitar, and melody driven tracks for their debut EP, Just Say Yes. Drummer Charles Seich was added to the band after being introduced to Jesse and Suzie for the purposes of recording their album. Since the release in August 2008, The Narrative has seen two feature promos on Myspace Canada, multiple spots on on MTV’s “Real World: Brooklyn” and "Real World: Cancun" as well as a very positive unsigned showcase on Absolutepunk.net. The band spent the majority of 2009 working diligently on a full length record. They are currently making plans to release their full length in 2010 and intend to hit the road in support of it. They have awesome smiles and are not really that athletic.
